Last night I had the inevitable "i-can't-believe-you-are-in-the-audience-watching-me-look-like-an-idiot" awkward moment last night. It was my current Intermediate Account II teacher, at an away show, in a restaurant that I don't think I'll ever be able to afford. I walked in the room with my two fellow performers and then - BAM - there he was right at the front table.
It was strange and awkward for several reasons. The most prevalent two reasons being:
- I had just seen him ten hours before in class and asked him about the proper titles of certain accounts.
- Teachers aren't supposed to exist outside of the class room - much less outside of the school.
Oh well. I suppose it was bound to happen someday. I survived it and have had time to think about all of the people that would have been even
more awkward to have in the audience. Here is an abbreviated list:
- Hitler.
- Any ex ever.
- A stalker.
- Simon Cowell
- Sasquatch

performance? I didn't know you acted. What type of show was it? and/or what was it called? That is so cool!
And yes I suppose that would have been rather awkard, wouldn't it have been, to see a teacher from College? Especially, if the Teacher is your age, single and good-looking. Is he? for your sake of course
The only question I have is: Did you rock his socks off? If he wasn't escorted out of the restaurant because of the "no shirt, no shoes (socks), no service" rule, I will consider myself a failure as a mentor.
It was a solid show. I won't lie. Not ground-breaking or flawless, but I was content with my performance because I know I did well and helped my team mates do well.
He gave me props in class this morning. Ah if only he would give me extra credit. Ha.
I miss you, Pete!
